Those engines could be paired with either front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive. Honda’s CVT transmission was also available for those looking for something simpler.
- Second Generation Honda HR-V (2015-Present)
For almost eight years, the Honda HR-V went out of production. In 2015, they re-released it with a stylish crossover-like design, featuring a trapezoid grille and an ascending waistline. The interior was fitted with a variety of soft-touch materials and the engine was updated with a 1.8L i-VTEC engine that paired nicely with the six-speed manual gearbox.
The 2018 version was updated with solely CVT. Honda added in the 7” touchscreen infotainment system as well, which utilizes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also comes with a variety of new driver-assistance technologies that mirror the other Honda vehicles on the market.
